NDOT meeting on McCarran widening
As your representative to state government, I’d like to pass on the following meeting notification regarding McCarran Boulevard:
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), is holding a meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the McQueen High School Cafeteria, 6055 Lancer St., Reno to provide information and receive comments on the proposed improvements to McCarran Boulevard, from 7th Street to I-80.
The proposed project would include widening existing pavement from four to six lanes and reconstructing the median for left turn storage improvements and pavement preservation full width. Sidewalks and bike lanes will also be included.
You are invited to attend the meeting at your convenience anytime from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Project representatives will be available to discuss the project with you individually and answer your questions. The meeting will be open format before and after a brief presentation about the proposed project at 5:30 p.m. followed by a short open comment period.
