While walking door to door yesterday I met a single mother of three struggling to provide for her family, raise her kids and better herself through education. Her oldest child, entering kindergarten this year, was just accepted to the full-day program at the local elementary school and is well on his way to becoming a bright student.

Two more endorsements of the David Bobzien campaign came in today: the Nevada Alliance for Retired Americans, and the Nevada Faculty Alliance.

I received news today that the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce has endorsed my candidacy for Nevada Assembly District 24. I’m proud of the recognition of my campaign for stronger representation and change this endorsement represents.

Man what a day! Up at the crack of dawn for the 2006 Reno Gazette-Journal Journal Jog, and then campaigning door to door for the campaign the rest of the day.
