I spent the morning at Record Street Cafe with Mr. Jerz for my first ever podcast. Here’s Ryan’s take:
In what seems like a mad dash by local bloggers to amass the biggest fish in the pond, I offer my first submission – a podcast interview with David Bobzien. David is a Democrat running for Assembly District 24 against incumbent Brooks Holcomb. I chose to interview David first because he was the first candidate I found with a weblog. And it’s a real one. I should also note that, although I found him independently, he is married to someone I went to high school with. Just disclosing all here.
For the first half we talk about my race, why I’m running, and my take on the issues. The second half of the show we talk Internet- where we are in Nevada, where we’re going, how the Internet can help the legislative process, and the perils of using the oxymoron “mature blogosphere.” Hat tip to JWH for the tunes that round out the show.
