We’re only in June, and I think I may have already racked up the weirdest walk story of the campaign. At a door I knocked this morning, the woman had interrupted her lawn mowing having come across a dead mouse. She couldn’t stomach disposing of the passed-on critter, so I offered to scoop it up and take it to the trash can. Getting things done for Assembly District 24! Photos and more after the jump.

Assemblywoman Debbie Smith (D-Sparks) and Assemblywoman Bonnie Parnell (D-Carson City) were featured on Nevada Newsmakers yesterday discussing the next session’s education agenda. Schools within schools to provide students with more direct support, increased emphasis on career and technical education, and receiving the results of the interim school financing adequacy study are just a few of the topics covered.
