Congratulations to long-time Committee to Aid Abused Women Executive Director Joni Kaiser, winner of CAAW’s Hannah Clapp award this year.

CAAW was organized in 1978 by Joni and other concerned people to address the problem of domestic violence in Reno and Sparks. As was noted last night at the CAAW dinner during remarks, one day we’ll be able to join together to dine as friends, but for now, there’s still plenty of work to do to end domestic violence and serve our community’s affected women and children.
